Paparazzi
Accessories is a new direct sales company (like
Scentsy, Pampered Chef, Mary Kay) that makes being fashionable
affordable. Our product is $5 accessories. We provide women with cute
and trendy
necklace/earring sets, bracelets, earrings, headbands, clips and rings.
The starlet shimmer line is earrings,
bracelets and rings for younger females (little girls, tweens, teens,
college
age and some adults will wear them.) It
is the same quality as found in Claire’s Boutique, but less expensive.
As an Independent Consultant, you have the
opportunity to build a profitable business through selling the product
and
building a team.
There are 3 main
reasons why starting a Paparazzi business is such a great idea.
1. The product is $5
jewelry! Women love $5 jewelry and they
CAN afford it too! Nowhere sells these
accessories for less. Even Walmart is
more expensive.
2. The company is
NEW. That means there are very few, if
any, consultants in your area. There is
no competition for the same product. You
will be in demand when people know that you sell $5 accessories. Not only can you do many parties and events,
you can also build a team and be a leader.
Building a team is very profitable.
3. The commission is
45%. For each piece of jewelry you sell
at $5, you make $2.25. That adds up very
quickly. Additionally, when you have
people join your team, you make between 5-10% off what they purchase from the Paparazzi
website. When they have people join, you
can earn a little from their purchases too.
Once again, this adds up quickly.
There are MANY
ways you can sell Paparazzi.
- Home parties.
At home open houses, people expect to buy and they come ready to
shop. They bring their wallets. Some will bring their daughters and
sometimes, a friend. In my experience,
an average party is between $200-250.
From the months of October through December, an average party is more
like $250-350+
- Office Visit.
Working women LOVE Paparazzi.
Most of them have a little bit of extra money and they need to look
professional for their jobs. Paparazzi
is a great way to add some professionalism for an inexpensive price. Take a basket or small display into a business/office
where women work. Sell it on their lunch
hour or leave it in the break room for a few days. You will be happy you did.
- Basket Parties.
Have people you trust take a basket/box of accessories to work, family
reunions or other places to show their friends, family and co-workers. When they sell the jewelry, they get free
jewelry and you get money.
Fundraisers.
Raise the price to $6 and donate $2 for each piece sold to whatever
cause you are assisting. High school
sports teams, music clubs, women’s shelters, cancer victims, dance teams,
someone’s medical bills, non-profits or whatever else needs funds. Either set up at an event or give “baskets”
to the people involved in the fundraiser and have them do the work. Either way, they benefit and you benefit.
5. Fairs, Events, Boutiques, Flea Markets, Trade
Days, Garage Sales, Consignment Sales, etc.
You can set up at an event and sell to all the people there. Usually
there is a booth fee. This is a great place to make contacts, book
parties, grow a team and sell jewelry.
6. Retail Businesses. Paparazzi allows retail businesses to carry
and sell their product and with a 45% commission, many will. You can either consign (have them sell it for
you – usually giving them some of your commission) or you can have them join as
a consultant/distributor. You get
commissions when they order product for their stores or sign people up as
consultants. Bridal stores, gas
stations, salons, beauty schools, gift shops, amusement parks, clothing stores
and more. There are many types of
business that will carry Paparazzi.
7. Set Up in your Home! Some consultants always have a display of
Paparazzi set up in their homes. People
will come and shop when you are home. You can also set up outside and sell to people
passing by. The yard sign from
Paparazzi is a great way to draw attention to you selling from your home.
8. TRADE!
Several times, I have traded my Paparazzi for services and products of
others. Haircuts, garage sale items,
food, other direct sales products. Many
women (and men) are willing to trade their product or service for Paparazzi.

Grow a team – When you tell people about
Paparazzi and they want to make money selling Paparazzi, they can join your
team and you get a little bit of commission from them.

10. Facebook Parties
Facebook Parties are SO Easy. You just set up an event on Facebook as a
LIVE Party and you post pictures of your inventory, People comment
"SOLD" under the picture they want, at the end you just close the party
and send them and Invoice. EASY!! The MOST I made have been $790+
How can I grow a
team and what are the benefits?
Right now, there are many women (and men) looking to earn
money. Either they are looking for a
job or just need a little bit extra money to make ends meet. When you are doing parties, talking with
people at events or just know people who fall into the “need money” or “I like
sales” category, tell them about Paparazzi.
Refer them to my blog. Share
this information and the newsletter with them.
When they decide to join, they will join your team. You will get to be a leader and help them
succeed. When they join with a kit, you
will get $30 and a little bit of commission (5-10%) from whatever they buy from
the website. The money adds up. When your team members start talking to
people and they join, you start getting more commission. Growing a team can be very profitable.
How Does Paparazzi
work?
Paparazzi is all cash and carry. It is a great impulse buy. Because it only cost $5, most people don’t
have to plan to purchase and save and budget.
They just grab what they want and go!
There is no catalog. No follow
up. No delivery.
In order for you to
have a Paparazzi business, you must buy the product at wholesale ($2.75 per
piece) and then you resell it for $5.
The profit is $2.25 per piece.
When you sell 50 pieces at a party, you make over $100 in two
hours. NICE!!!
You order what you know your customers will like and they
come buy it from you in any of the above stated ways. After you sell from your home, other
people’s homes, businesses, events, schools, or office buildings the items you
have, you order more and start the process all over again. It is buying and reselling at it’s finest.
Paparazzi is ALWAYS rotating the jewelry. New items come up on the website weekly. There is never a guarantee that you are
going to be able to get any item for more than a week or two. Customers who become “addicted” to Paparazzi
want to know what is new and want to come to your house when you get a new
order in. Some women are willing to
host more than one party a year because they to see the Spring line and Fall
line (and everything in between)!

The best way to get started is to buy a starter kit.

I recommend either the $299 or $499 kit to get started
unless you have a large event planned.
My best recommendation is the $499 kit.
You can do 2 to 3 parties without reordering. You can see what sells well in your
area. Your party will be awesome and you
will book more parties because women are confident that you can provide their
friends and family with a good variety of jewelry.
I recommend for any
kit, you purchase at least one set of earrings, rings, and bracelets of the
Starlet Shimmer items (younger girl items) and a yard sign. These will NOT come in a starter kit and
they will sell and assist you in being successful. You kit will come with more necklaces than
anything. I also recommend getting more
regular earrings if you buy the $299 kit.
You will probably only get 5 pairs of earrings.
In order to make money with Paparazzi, you
have to buy product so that I why I HIGHLY suggest, buying a kit.
How Do I Order
more Product?
After your starter kit, you can order anything you want to
order from the Paparazzi website. You
will have about 800-900 items to choose from.
Everything comes in sets of 5. So you may choose five black necklaces that
are all a little different style. You
can choose five silver headbands that are all a different style. Or five red bracelets of different
styles. And so on. Each group of five costs $13.75. When you sell them for $5 each, you have $25. The difference is your 45% profit which you
keep.
Order as much or as little as you need. There is not mandatory amount you have to
purchase every month from the site.
How much do I have
to order to maintain consultant status?
Because Paparazzi is run by mothers, they understand that
there are some months you need to take a break and shouldn’t lose your business
because you are pregnant or helping with sick kids, etc. In order to keep your consultant status, you
only have to order 100 pieces in an entire year (12 months.) That is the same as buying the smallest
starter kit.
If you want to retain the title of “Active Consultant,” you
have to order 25 pieces in the month you want to be active. In order to receive a commission check from
your team, you need to purchase 25 pieces in the month you want your check. Twenty-five pieces is about $72. If you want to show up in the consultant
finder on the Paparazzi website, you have to be Active. I have had several team members be contacted
from that site in the 3 weeks that it has been available who have either booked
parties from it or had a person join their team.
How much is
shipping?
Shipping rocks. If
you order over $400 worth of product at one time, shipping is FREE. If you order under $400, the cost is only
$10. It is not really worth it to order
1-3 sets at a time because the shipping will still cost $10. Plan ahead and save money.
How long does it
take me to get my product?
Paparazzi will package your product in 24-72 hours. Usually, your order is packaged in the first
24 hours, but sometimes (if the company gets slammed with orders) it may take a
day longer.
After it is packaged, it is delivered by UPS to your
door. However long it takes for UPS to
get it from Southern Utah to your doorstep is how long it takes. Most places in the USA will get a package
within a week. Plan ahead.
How does taxes
work?
When you purchase product, you are charged tax on everything
costing $5 because that is what you are selling it for. Then Paparazzi sends the collected tax to the
state it was shipped to. The govt. requires Paparazzi to do it this way. When you charge tax to your customers, you
just keep the money collected and reimburse yourself for the tax you have
already paid when you ordered. You never
will have to send in or report SALES tax to the state where you live. At some events, you may be given a paper to
record what you sold. Just send in the
paper saying that you are with Paparazzi with the tax ID from the company (call
in and ask for the state ID).
If you choose not to charge tax, you will not be earning a
45% commission because you paid the tax that your supposed to pass onto your
customers.
You will need to report your income tax at the end of the year. Keep track of what you buy, sell and any
expenses for your business. You can get
some awesome tax deductions because of Paparazzi. Phone, internet, car miles, part of your home
and utilities can all be deductions.
Keep track from the very beginning!!!
And talk to a CPA when it comes time for taxes. They can help you get back more than the fee they
charged and they will help you stay in the guidelines.
